All About You Gallery

An intergalactic "identity-registration portal" run by the fictional Zinions at ParSEC Whitefield. Visitors collect an RFID card and move through stations that read, translate and reinterpret who they are — movement, body, name, birth and creative trace — ending in a personalised registration receipt. Return the card and the personal session is cleared; only anonymised collective patterns remain.

Every station asks a question

A techno-monkey studies and mimics your movement (How do you move?). A round glass scanner turns your palm into playful statistics (What's in your hands?). Your name is reinterpreted twelve ways (What's in your name?). Three rotary dials take your date of birth and a layered projection answers (When did you begin?). A UV scribbling wall tracks nothing at all — the one station with no data capture (What do you leave behind?). At the exit, a thermal printer compiles the journey into a receipt: Now you know.

Under the hood

One shared RFID session threads the gallery together. TouchDesigner instances and a central mainframe run the floor, Unity renders the AR monkey, ESP32 boards drive the station electronics, and a lone Raspberry Pi powers the receipt printer — on a stack spanning Python, Node, MongoDB, WebSockets and Stellarium.

Version 1 launched June 2026 with nine of eleven stations live. Phase 2 — the Nebula reflex challenge and a Rube Goldberg data visualiser — is underway.

Digital Driving Challenge

A driving simulator for the Traffic gallery at ParSEC Whitefield, built with Volvo, Bengaluru Traffic Police and IIT Kanpur. Visitors take the wheel for a first-person drive through Bengaluru streets — and the game progressively disrupts their visual and motor control, simulating what distraction and drink-driving actually do.

Two rounds, one message

Round one is a day-mode drive under a storm of notifications — salary-credited pings, EMI alerts, calls, social media, even cat videos — where one glance at a pop-up is enough to crash. Round two switches to night: the windshield blurs in stages and steering control slips away, simulating driving under influence. Every run is scored on coins collected, and a leaderboard displays the day's best drives.
